India has registered rapid waves of growth in terms of development during the past two decades. The Contribution of Indian IT Professionals towards achieving this is significant. While furthering the growth of India, they have carved out a distinct niche for themselves in the areas of Information Technology. IT Enabled Services and Computer Hardware Technology. Armed with strong intuitive skills, an ability to track and master the rapid changes in the field, and a diligent and hardworking attitude, the Indian professional has now become the toast of the world. Albert Einstein had once said of India "We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made" Today, the entire world reiterates this view.

The experience that the IT professionals have gained through working with some of the largest global organizations equips them with a unique understanding of the best international practices. Their zeal and enthusiasm to shape the future is evident in their knowledge, innovative ideas and their ability to come up with fresh and alternative solutions. The grasp of these professionals of the problems afflicting our nation can be seen in the blogosphere and the web world where they regularly express themselves. However, the political leadership hasn’t realized the potential of the IT professionals and their efficacy in resolving the problems of India. This is high time we realize the imperative of engaging and involving these sharp minds and make them a part of policy formulation and governance.

Appreciating the imperative of involving the IT world in policy and decision making governance, Shri Nitin Gadkari, the young President of the BJP, has initiated a nation-wide 'Interface' with IT Professionals , Being an entrepreneur himself , he is aware of the immense potential that the IT professionals have and the present initiative is an attempt to tap that potential. This Initiative is going to be launched in Hyderabad which is one of the largest IT hubs in the entire South Asia.

With the motto "Together - Our Future" he intends to meet the IT professionals on the 6th of June, 2010 at 4 pm in Hotel Katriya Towers, Somajiguda, Hyderabad. The Objective of the interface is to have a dialogue to ensure the active participation of the young IT professionals in bringing fresh insights into various socio-political, economic and cultural aspects of governance apart from getting their views on harnessing technology for village empowerment.

The Meeting is purely apolitical and the BJP-Andhra Pradesh is facilitating the core responsibility of a political party which is to engage its citizens for the country's development.

The IT & Corporate cell of BJP requests you to participate in the meet and make your valuable suggestions which will go a long way in making India a super power
