Inviting professionals to join BJP on May 20^th 2012

Friends, It is an acknowledged fact that educated urban middle class in India have been staunch BJP supporters right since its inception. It isn't very different in Andhra Pradesh. The key evidence is the fact that we used to win a majority of the graduate constituencies in the legislative council in Andhra Pradesh before the council was abolished in mid 80s. But the constitution of this urban middle class has since changed. The urban middle class which was then mostly represented by government employees, lawyers, university teachers, doctors and CAs has added many more professional classes to itself from areas like IT, Banking, Telecom, Biotech, Pharma, construction and industries covering travel and hotel industry just to name a few.

One of the biggest challenges before Indian democracy is to get an urban middle class voter to the polling booth. They have become apathetic due to crisis of credibility in the political space. The urban middle class isn't easily influenced by any inducements but they are disappointed with the choices presented before them. It is a proven fact that the achievements of the 6 year NDA government tower way above the achievements of the UPA rule during the last 8 years and any government in the first 50 years of Indian Independence and even now BJP is the best bet to propel India to greater heights. This message can be relayed through to this section only through the long forgotten art of small group meetings and personal communication. And who better to communicate this than another professional like them.

If you feel passionately that BJP and NDA are the best bet for the country in today's circumstances, the time to act is now. With a view to reach out to our supporters from the educated sections,IT Cell BJP is inviting professionals to join the party who can actively work for the party in various assembly constituencies and conduct programs aimed at the middle class sections of the society and play a supporting role to the local leadership in further strengthening the party.A few hundred such professionals have expressed their interest in joining the party and we are hosting an event on 20^th May, Sunday for these professionals to join in the presence  of  our state president  Shri G.Kishan Reddy MLA followed by a keynote address by  Shri P. Muralidhar Rao, National Secretary, BJP on the topic 'The Crisis of Credibility in Indian Politics'. The event will be presided by Shri N. Ramachander Rao, General Secretary, AP BJP along with interaction with key young leaders from AP.
